As a web developer, I have 6 years of experience in web application development for a large tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Because of this the majority of the my current portfolio is not publicly available on the internet. They are primarily internal applications. However I have developed some publicly available sites which can be seen on the portfolio page. Duncan Digital uses a variety of the latest internet technologies to provide you and your customers with a pleasant and enjoyable web browsing experience. I have experience with Java, Javascript, ASP, ASP.NET, HTML, DHTML, CSS, Flash and PHP. My current technologies of choice are a combination of LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySql and PHP), DHTML, CSS and Javascript. This is important because these technologies are open source. This means there is no charge for your website host to install these technologies on their servers, unlike ASP, ASP.NET and Java. Most of the time your web hosting will be less expensive when open source technologies are employed rather than the non-open source alternatives.
